In the AoS universe there are a multitude of things that have been invented that cure all illnesses and give super strength, but a common side effect is spontaneously exploding.
I'm wondering how many on the board would find the risk to be an acceptable trade-off.

Extremis or Centipede's version of it? Nah, I'll pass. I would definitely try my luck with a terrigen crystal / fishoil capsule, though, (the diviner metal-free version, thank you very much!) to see if I don't have some inhuman genes in the mix.

I'm gonna wait to reply to this poll, because Talbot may take the last of the 'bad stuff' out of Cal's formula. Mace was nearly a bad-ass, but such a junkie.

I would for wellness if I was terminal with no options and no hope. I wouldn't do it "just because."

I would for wellness if I was terminal with no options and no hope. I wouldn't do it "just because." There's plenty of room in between. Suppose you had a missing limb, like many veterans do. In IM3 they showed Extremis causing one to grow back. Or how about severe arthritis where just walking is painful? You can live with either of those, but some might be willing to take the risk to get back full mobility.

Terminal would be the only reason I'd accept it as treatment; that is, of course, if I was made fully aware of the potential side effects. (2) I guess I'm not part of the "some"

Unless you're Steve Rogers, when has that ever worked out?

Unless you're Steve Rogers, when has that ever worked out? Technically, the serum seems to have worked okay for Bucky... where Bucky had the *real* problem was being held by Hydra and having is brain fried repeatedly to keep him under control

I would first take my chances with the terrigent, then with the serum and the centipede stuff. If that all fails I will go for the suit.

It was confirmed in interviews with the cast/crew during CA: The Winter Soldier that the experimenting Zola was doing on Bucky back in 1943 was him attempting to do a super soldier serum

Outside of some Deadpool-level of desperation, I think I'd pass on Extremis or Centipede. Unless Tony Stark was overseeing it.
