So, I've watched two episodes so far and I'm liking it a lot. What I was wondering is if all episodes of the first three seasons/series are on Netflix. It has only three episodes each for season/series one and two and seven for season/series three. Is this all of the episodes or is Netflix leaving some out for some reason?

There are three episodes per season, plus a Christmas special "The Abominable Bride" between seasons 3 and 4. Maybe Netflix messed up and listed all the S3 and S4 eps, plus the special as one season. It would fit, going by the number of episodes. ADDED: Btw, once you get to the season 2 finale, I want you to appreciate the gift of Netflix binge-watching and remember that there were years before the next episode aired!

Thank you for the explanation. Years? Wow. I didn't know that. Are they making more or has the show ended?

People were going crazy over that time span! As for S5, I don't think there's been any official word, yet, but I'm not really expecting another season at this point. The S4 finale had a very final air to it, so this seems like a good place to stop the show. Personally, I think it's been past its best for a while now, so I wouldn't have a problem with ending it here.

good grief! That's a long wait. I guess I shouldn't complain so much when it takes almost a year for some of my shows to return.

The main problem they face is getting their pretty busy schedules to align (which is why there's been years between a couple of the seasons).

Holy moly, this show is good! The storyline with "the woman" and conclusion of the Moriarty storyline in particular were awesome.
Even though the scene was someone's idea about how Sherlock pulled things off, the scene where he kissed Molly... That was kind of hot. :blushes:
I'm on the ep with the wedding now. While I was watching it, my wifi crapped out on me, so I turned Netflix off and reset the wifi. I will probably watch more episodes tomorrow. We might possibly get a wintry mix of weather. If that happens, I likely won't be leaving the house lol.

I'm next door in Arkansas and we're expecting Winter to return as well. WTF? Stuff's been blooming for weeks. I need to mow, not shovel snow. I'm confused....... locks door................ closes blinds........ shuts it all out. :-)

Oh, my sinuses wish that we could decide what season we're in and stay there! I'm tired of the "today snow, tomorrow 60 degrees" weather!

Well if you are going to get snowed in Sherlock is a great way to spend the time. Yep, I was glued to the TV yesterday. I figured things out in the Hounds episode pretty quickly though. Probably due to watching a lot of CSI and similar shows lol. Speaking of CSI, I love how one of the characters called Sherlock "CSI" something. Can't remember the other part of it at the moment.

I think it was Lestrade. He called him "CSI Bakerstreet". I used to have that on a T-Shirt!
