That white suit Luci had on reminds me of John Travolta's suit in Saturday Night Fever lol.

That white suit Luci had on reminds me of John Travolta's suit in Saturday Night Fever lol. Yeah, pretty sure that's an intentional homage. They're about the only two people who could rock that suit!

Tom Welling (Clark, Smallville) is joining the cast (series regular). He will be playing a police captain or something along those lines. Supposedly the character will be ruffling the feathers (no pun intended) of Luci (and others).

Soo happy Luci is finally back! I have to admit, though, I kind of expected a bigger time jump between the seasons. I almost felt weird to have everything just continue where things left off (including Amenadiel not knowing yet what happened to mom,...), and I'm sure the writers had Lucifer mirror that impression on purpose as he kept expecting everyone to be searching for him. "Your absense? I saw you two days ago." Well, poor Lucy! Tom Welling (Clark, Smallville) is joining the cast (series regular). He will be playing a police captain or something along those lines. Supposedly the character will be ruffling the feathers (no pun intended) of Luci (and others). I had totally forgotten about this casting news and was wondering where I had seen the guy before. I only ever watched the first season of Smallville back in the day, so it's been a while since I've seen Tom Welling, but, damn! He got old! Loooove the new wings ( and boy am I glad that the refuse to stay off ), plus the whole mystery of what happened to Lucifer is very intriguing. Poor guy lost his game face! Now all I can say is: "Show her your wings already!!!!" Because honestly, I'm getting sick and tired of the show teasing this will they/won't they between Lucifer and the detective. I know it's part of the show's appeal, but she deserves to know already! Can't wait to find out more about the new guy in the shadows!

What the what?! At first, I thought Pierce might be Michael or possibly Gabriel (wishful thinking I suppose), but then again Luci and Amenadiel would have known right away. I knew he was something other than human. I never even thought about him being Cain. Wow! What a plot twist!
Read an article where it said Cain/Pierce just wants to die and thinks Luci can help him with that goal. It begs the question: When Pierce took that bullet for Chloe, was it because he was truly trying to help her? Did he think an act of selflessness would break the curse? Or did he hope being near Chloe would make him vulnerable the way it does Luci?

I'm sad. Stupid Fox canceled Lucifer when there's supposed to be a huge cliffhanger in Monday's episode. Tptb behind the show need to call Netflix now! Please Netflix pick up Lucifer, Librarians and Designated Survivior!

Arrrghghghggh!!!!! *sobs* Yeah, the show runners were shocked too. They did a big cliffhanger "so there was no way Fox could cancel" and then they did anyway. They also canceled Brooklyn 99, but NBC has already picked it up. Hopefully someone will pick up Lucifer. You know, the more I think about it, I'm not sure Fox even has a strategy. They are canceling popular shows. I'm starting to wonder if they have the names of all their shows on a wall and just randomly through darts to decide what to cancel or renew. I think I'm going to skip season two of Gifted in protest of them canceling Lucifer. At this rate, Gifted will be lucky to get a third season anyway. Fox is making very bad decisions. #SaveLucifer #LuciferonNetflix.

That guy totally over-hyped the cliffhanger. It didn't seem that big to me. We can kind of infer where they'd go with it. There's really only two ways lol. Rejection or acceptance.

There were two extra stand alone Lucifer episodes filmed that the show runners planned to air during season four (like the "prequel ep" from this season). Fox is apparently going to air them on the 28th. One of these episodes was directed by Kevin Alejandro (Dan).
The show runners along with Tom Ellis are still trying to get another network to pick up the show. The show runner said Season four would have introduced an exciting character from Luci's past, an intimate figure who would shake things up. I wonder who that would have been.
