Yeah, as if Tony Stark couldn't arrange a private tutor the school system would approve, not to mention Peter Parker could probably pass the GED or HSET with zero studying.
Also, Spidey was right about the elevator - it's the stopping distance and not what stops you. The free falling elevator would probably be going at least 50mph and if his webs stop it in 10-15 feet it's just as bad as if you ram a big tree in your car going 30+mph.
