Had so much fun reading everybody's posts, it took me a while to write my own. Jed Whedon lived up to his family name. Feels, intrigue, action...... fan service. Yep he got it all in, in one ep. And what an ep it was. Glad they didn't make Jemma too badass. Would have been too OTT and OOC. I think they did it just right. For the first time in a while Fitz wasn't Mr. Save-the-day..... but he was still entertaining as hell. Elizabeth Henstridge knocked it out of the park. Damn that girl can act, and Chloe's shown a lot of improvement since S1. Remember kiddos - if an agent has a real gun..... it ain't an agent; it's a RoboAndroidLMD I was really pleased with the story, acting, yaddah-yaddah........ but I was over the moon about the VFX. Really awesome stuff. Note: Kolpack said they finished the last three VFX shots last Thursday. Talk about "down-to-the-wire".... What is it with Bear McCreary and finales? The writing makes you look at the tissue box, but Bear's music is what makes you grab a handful of tissues. He seems to really pour it on for the finales. Radcliffe got what he deserved. Does anybody see him helping the Frameworkers escape just to spite AIDA? I see his wormy, slithering ass making a deal with Coulson to help them escape if he can stay forever in the Maytrix with Agnes....... If the fan boys didn't straighten up with the Bouquet of Daisies, I bet they fell off the couch with Chloe thrashing in the tub. AIDA's a naughty girl. Is it weird that I felt more engaged/connected with RoboMay this ep, than I ever have with May? Hope May comes out of the Maytrix with less PTSD and more Ming. :-) I'll cover the cliffhanger later in another thread. I mean, what the hell...... we've got 6 weeks.

I agree with everything you said here. Also, as much as I hate having a hiatus, I think this one is actually not so bad, because I really do need some time to wrap my brain around it. Also, if this was any indication, pod 3 is going to be non-stop, so having a chance to catch a breath is a good thing! 😄

Elizabeth Henstridge should get an award for her performance in this episode. She was incredible! I'm also glad she didn't suddenly become a ninja, like so many tv women do. Leave the ass kicking to Daisy!

It is cool that can show awesome fighting skills. Like her high jump. But it is even cooler to explore her Inhuman powers.

Is it weird that I felt more engaged/connected with RoboMay this ep, than I ever have with May? Hope May comes out of the Maytrix with less PTSD and more Ming. :-) Not saying this is you by any means DoTheMath. Just using this thread to vent. I have always felt connected to her. I believe she is so highly under rated. Considering how awesome a nerd and funny Ming is, the character is so vastly different. I got sick of reading on IMDB and now some other boards about how bad an actress she is because she never showed any emotions. I feel like screaming, "she wasn't supposed to!" And after what happened to me last night on another board I am considering quitting social media altogether. Didn't know it was a crime to to have an unpopular opinion on certain characters. Was defending after someone started in on Ming again and started receiving really hateful pm's cause I disagreed with them on Fitzsimmons. Called May a floozy which I am still trying to understand how anyone could see that in her character. Felt like arguing with a two year old. Maybe its cause as an older viewer I can relate more to the older characters and that should be ok. But heaven forbid you dislike Fitzsimmons. I don't want to start a discussion about them or hurt anyone's feelings that do like them cause I know a lot here do, but I damn well have a right to my opinion. I have only stated I dislike them, never insulted them. And I will highlight again that this was another board, Jemma. No one here has ever done anything like that to make me feel unwelcome. I took it to the moderators there but have not heard back. So if I disappear for a while, that's why.

You are certainly entitled to voice your opinion. I didn't like the non-stop attention FitzSimmons got last season. There was too much time spent on them.
I've seen Ming in many other projects, so I know she is a good actress. My problem with her character May is that (in my opinion) she treats 95% of people like dirt. The only people she is actually nice to are Coulson and Daisy. That attitude has rubbed me the wrong way plenty of times. It's not the actress, it's the way her character is written.

I don't think Fitzsimmons got too much time spend on them. I do dislike that it Fitz and Simmons barely can have arclines of their own. It looks a bit that Simmons got one when she met the Inhuma guy. But everything that Fitz did was iwth the protection of Simmons in mind............ I kind of agree with May. Though I do think she care about Fitz and Simmons as well. It just that she doesn't show that much.

I felt the same way regarding not only May/Ming, but also Many other stoic characters and their protrayers. I just want to groan and go, "oh not this argument again", it's beyond frustrating.

Glad to know it wasn't here, and I definitely won't tolerate anyone being abusive towards anyone else here, and certainly not over a difference of opinion. As far as I've seen and heard so far, everyone seems to be really stepping up to help keep a good sense of community here, and I want to continue to encourage that. We may prefer different aspects of the show, but in the end, we're all fans. Please don't feel like you can't voice a dissenting opinion here. /also adding that, while I ❤ FitzSimmons, May totally gets the short end of the stick quite a lot!
